There are so many things that Melia says, that make me laugh, smile, and think "Where does she come up with these things?" So I thought I would share them with all of you.
These are all things that came out of her little mouth this week.
"Can we go to Church now, I want to dance and get my praise on" Get my praise on - a phrase coined by her favorite babysitter Ms. Teri :)
Last night as we were praying with Melia she says, "I want to pray" so we let her. This was her opening line...
"Dear God in Florida"
Everything she talked about last night had to do with Florida and she was insistent God was there. I have no idea where talk of Florida came from.
"Mommy I missed you" (when I came home from work early today). It made my heart melt.
And finally...
"mommy, I see your bummy"
Yesterday when I got home from work I sat down on the living room floor to change Eva's diaper. My wonderful maternity pants, which always seem to be falling down, were on their way down again revealing, lets call it my lower back. Melia observed this and felt the need to comment and laugh. This occurred even with a cami and a bella band on. Sometimes it's just unpreventable :)

My favorite is the "bummy" comment!! And God probably does live in Florida.
SO TRUE about the stinkin' pants riding down no matter what you do! I'm often wondering HOW, with the same cami and bella band, I still manage to flash everyone in a store with crack when I bend down to fix M's shoe :)
And, perhaps Melia was praying for her dear friend Maddy in Florida? :) We need to get them together soon!!!
I love that little girl! And, I must admit, I love it when I hear her say something she picked up from me. :)
Except if it is bad. I really try to be careful, but sometimes my kids say stuff that is totally inappropriate. I always correct them though.
She is awesome!
