This morning we arrived at the hospital at 5:45am...registered and up to labor and delivery we went. I was put in a room right away. Things were pretty slow starting. I test positive for strep b, so I had to have an IV and then have antibiotics on board for 3 hours before they would break my water or give pitosin. So for the firstt three hours Chris, my mom and dad, and best friend Rebekah sat around and talked all morning. At 10:15, the doc came in and broke my water. At 11:00 they came in to start pitosin. Contractions started shortly after that. When I arrived at the hospital I was at 4 cm. At 12:15 I was at 6 cm and the contractions came on hard and strong, and by12:45 i was at 10 and 12 min later he was born. I was so blessed to have my husband, mom, and best friend present at the birth. i was also able to watch the birth by way of mirror. This was the first time i was able to have that opportunity, and it was incredible to experience. I will post pictures when I et them downloaded.
I was super excited to have internet right in the room, along with a bedside keyboard to be able to type this post and keep up with my twitter contest. I am feeling great, ready to sleep for a bit, and enjoy our son. Thanks for all of your prayers and support. We are incredibly blessed.

YEA!!!! I already got a play by play via Rebekah, and had no hope that you would have posted already...how awesome are you! Parker is precious and I'm so thankful you were able to have such a speedy delivery! Can't wait to hear you tell the story :) Much love and blessings from the Carneys

So very exciting!! Congrats to you and Chris on a beautiful baby boy. You look fabulous. Enjoy your little man, they grow so quickly. My little Jacob is already 7 weeks, I don't know where the time has gone. Congrats again and welcome to Baby Parker.
